The Nottingham Women's Club was founded in 1948. As called for in our Constitution, this Club provides a focus for the women of Nottingham to join together in service of our community and fellowship with other women. We provide support to our town and it's people including a Scholarship fund that is awarded to one Nottingham Graduate each spring.

Nottingham Ladies Club Update by Beverly Caldon

You know those ladies who sip tea from fine porcelain cups with their pinkies in the air? Hey, that‚s us!! ˆ on Mon., Sept. 17. Our meeting will be at 1:30 PM at the Nottingham Congregational Church on Rte. 156. Members and guests are encouraged to bring their own fine porcelain teacups to show the group. Hostesses will be Phyllis Rehill and Karin Rohrer.

The October 15th meeting at 6:30 PM will be held at the Mustard Seed Natural Living Center at 80 Stage Road (Rte. 152). The business, which has recently returned to Nottingham after many years in Portsmouth, features herbs, teas, natural soaps, jewelry, organics, etc. (www.MustardSeedHerbs.com ) Owner and Master Herbalist Salandrea will offer a hands-on presentation and after-hours peek at every aspect of her business, including growing herbs, marketing, workshops, health and healing products, etc. This „field trip‰ meeting is open to prospective members, too.

We send a hearty thank-you to Debbie Meador for her enthusiastic term as Vice President. Deb is getting married soon and is moving out of the area. Congratulations and Best Wishes from all!
