Scholarship 2007

Nottingham Women’s Club June 21, 2007

By Phyllis Rehill

The Nottingham Women’s Club Scholarship winner was HANNAH OSGOOD.

She was a recent High School graduate of Coe-Brown Academy in Northwood.

Hannah will be attending Gordon College in MA this fall, where she will be a four year, full-time student. Her field of study will be Early Childhood Education.

Hannah, accompanied by her parents, was presented with her $1600 Scholarship check at our June 18 dinner meeting.

We invite Nottingham women to join us on the third Monday of each month. The time alternates between 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM to accommodate women who work during the day. The next meeting will be Sept. 17 at 1:30 PM at the Congregational Church.

In addition to providing a yearly scholarship for a Nottingham High School Senior or Undergraduate, the Women’s Club also helps with blood drives, gives to the Food Pantry, and contributes to other needy projects.
